Executive Team

President

Komal Rana

As a member of the International Student Association (ISA), I would strive to best represent international students by being their voice, advocate, and supporter. Firstly, I would actively listen to the concerns, needs, and ideas of international students. I would make it a priority to create opportunities for open dialogue, whether through regular meetings, forums, or online platforms, where students can freely express their thoughts and experiences. Secondly, I would work closely with the ISA team to address these concerns and advocate for the necessary changes and improvements. This may involve collaborating with university administration, faculty, and staff to implement policies that better support international students. I would also engage in constructive dialogue and negotiations to ensure the best outcomes for our community. I would actively seek opportunities to provide practical support for international students. I aim to foster an environment where international students feel heard, valued, and empowered to thrive in their academic and personal pursuits.

Mayank Sing Sajwan

As a candidate for the International Student Association (ISA), I seek your support to represent our vibrant and diverse community. If elected, I will be a voice for all international students, ensuring our needs are met and our voices are heard.
Effective communication will be at the core of my approach. I will actively engage with you, my fellow students, to understand your concerns and aspirations. As a bridge between our community and the university administration, I will advocate for policies and initiatives that address our specific needs.
Creating a supportive environment for academic success and personal growth is paramount. I will work tirelessly to enhance student services, organize cultural events, and establish mentorship programs. Together, we can foster a welcoming space where everyone feels valued and included.
Financial challenges should not hinder our educational journeys. I will collaborate with the university to explore scholarships, grants, and employment opportunities for international students. It is essential that we have access to resources that help us thrive academically and pursue our dreams.
